The Swollen Fox
一只饥肠辘辘的狐狸在橡树洞里发现了牧羊人留下的面包和肉，就迫不及待地爬进去，美美地饱餐了一顿。吃完所有的东西后，他的肚子胀得鼓鼓的，再也没有办法从洞里爬出来。他只好唉声叹气，抱怨上天不公。这时，另一只狐狸正好路过，听到他的悲叹，就走过来问他怎么了。当这只狐狸明白事情的来龙去脉后说道：“哦，依我看你只能乖乖地待在这里，等到你瘦到原先的样子，你就可以轻而易举地爬出来了。”
不要贪心不足。
A very hungry Fox，seeing some bread and meat left by shepherds in the hollow of an oak，crept into the hole and made a hearty meal. When he finished，he was so full that he was not able to get out，and began to groan and lament his fate. Another Fox assing by heard his cries，and coming up，inquired the cause of his complaining. On learning what had happened，he said to him，“Ah，you will have to remain there，my friend，until you become such as you were when you crept in，and then you will easily get out.”
